TVS Atlas is a local, fully encrypted vault for your passwords, notes, photos and sensitive entries. It runs entirely on your device — no cloud, no account, no tracking. Your data never leaves your phone unless you export it yourself.

CORE PRINCIPLES

• Privacy by design — no telemetry, analytics, ads, advertising IDs or crash reporting.
• No account, no registration — just install and unlock.
• Full control over your backups — you decide where the encrypted envelope is stored.
• Open, proven cryptographic design.

SECURITY

• AES-256 symmetric encryption in authenticated mode (HMAC-SHA256).
• Key derived locally from your password and/or key file using PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA256 with 600,000 iterations.
• Optional sealing of the key in the Android Keystore for fast biometric unlock.
• Biometrics are convenience only — they never replace your password. A password is always required after a password change, reinstall, device change or a deliberate sign-out.

TWO INDEPENDENT VAULTS (PLAUSIBLE DENIABILITY)

• You can configure two equally valid vaults inside one container, each with its own password and its own key files.
• The container file on disk always looks the same — from the outside no one can tell whether you use one vault or two.
• Switching between vaults is simply a matter of entering the matching credentials.

FLEXIBLE UNLOCK METHODS

• Password.
• A single key file (any file on your device as an additional factor).
• A group of N key files in a defined order + emergency K-of-N mode (Shamir's Secret Sharing) in case some files are lost.
• Time guardian — a vault can be configured to unlock only after a chosen date.
• GPS guardian — unlock only within a defined radius of a chosen location.
• Optional fast biometrics (fingerprint / face) after the first password unlock.

ENTRIES AND ATTACHMENTS

• Add entries with a title, notes, date, location (GPS or map) and photos (gallery or camera).
• Search across titles, notes and places.
• Full editing and deletion of entries while encrypted.
• Auto-lock when the app is minimized.

SHARING VIA QR

• A single entry can be transferred to another device with a QR code — no cloud, no account, no network.
• Scanner and generator are available right from the home screen and the details view.

BACKUPS UNDER YOUR CONTROL

• Export the encrypted envelope to any location (phone, SD card, private cloud — the choice is yours).
• Without your password and key file the backup is useless — not even we can recover your data.
• One-step import from within the app.
